Description: A large, evergreen tree. Bole straight reaching up
to 20 meters high.
Native and distributed throughout the
Philippines.
Uses: Bark decoction used as diuretic. Wood is hard and heavy and good for fuel. Bark is source of dye, tannin and paper pulp.
