Description: The species is native to the Philippines mostly found in coastal to lowland limestone forest of Southern Luzon, it is critically endangered based on the IUCN red list of threatened species as well as in DENR-DAO 2007-01.

Uses: Decoction of leaves is sed hemorrhages and menstral disorder. Timber is used locally for construction, being favoured as posts for housing. It is also used as firewood.
