Uses: Young leaves, flowers, and fruits are edible. Fruits eaten raw; can be made into jams, jellies and juices. Bark, leaves and fruits used in the treatment of burns, sores and wounds.
Bark decoction used for treatment of diabetes, used for dysentery and diarrhea, rheumatism, vomiting. Wood used for various carpentry application suitable for manufacture of matchsticks, matchboxes, boxes and crates. Leaves and fruits used as pig fodder.
